My name is Kimberli Hawkins. I grew up in Provo, just a few miles from Franklin Elementary. I attended Timpanogos Elementary School, Dixon Junior High (now Dixon Middle School) and Provo High School.
I spent a year at the University of Utah working on my education degree before I transferred to Weber State University’s elementary education program. I graduated from Weber State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.
I substituted for a year at Franklin Elementary and then I was hired to teach 4th grade in 1995. I taught 4th grade for 10 years. I then changed grades and taught 3rd grade for three years. This year I decided to move back to 4th grade. I am really excited to teach 4th grade again!
I have finished my ESOL endorsement, my keyboarding endorsement, and my technology endorsement. I am currently an eMints teacher.
My family is very important to me. I am the oldest of 4 children. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. My husband and I live in Provo with our two daughters Kaitlyn and Brecka. Lucky for me, my entire family lives in Provo!!
I enjoy laughing, learning new things, writing, photography and scrapbooking, cooking, working and creating in my classroom, family vacations, and spending time with my family!
